Fall Overload

We're sitting here waiting for Hurricane Sandy to make landfall tomorrow. We lucked out and found a generator to rent in case our power goes out since we need our sump pumps to work. We've been stalking a local hardware store and Dave got the last one. Since when do we get hurricanes? Kind of crazy here. One of our local gas stations ran out of gas?! Here's to hoping that we can go trick-or-treating still because we have one excited kid on our hands.

Anyway, knowing Sandy is going to wipe out any last leaves on the trees we've been soaking up Fall around here. Some hikes, jumping in the leaves, pumpkin patch and pumpkin carving. The leaves this year were gorgoeous. Our yard is cleaned up now, leaves are raked, everything is put away in the shed and we won't see our patio furniture until next Spring.

Enjoy some absolute picture overload...I've been waiting for the moment where Tyler and I can jump in the leaves together. All he kept saying "Mommy, this is so much fun!" ♥ Zac was sleeping when we were playing yesterday, so this morning I plopped him in the middle of the wet leaf pile to get a picture of him too, but he wasn't all too enthused about it. Could've been that his butt was getting soaked, but the Mom guilt set in and I needed that picture of him in the leaves :)
