Alright, so I'm going to do my best to hop back on this blog train and get back to writing along with my posts. Updates on the kids, small little posts on people in our family, what life is really like behind these lovely smiley pictures. Because for real, there's lots of smiley pictures on this blog, but as we all know it's not always that way with two little creatures running around the house (hence the picture below of my lunch at work, it's peace I tell ya and that day in particular they had food trucks come and we got free lunch...heaven).
Fall is in full swing and I'm loving it. We had a really great summer. The weather was awesome, but I'm ready for it to turn to a new season. There's enough sand still coming out of our washer to last us until next summer, so yes Fall we're ready for you. We're now moving on to crunchy leaves all over the house and smooshed in to the carpets. I love the seasons here. I'm still soaking them up and we've been back here for 4 years this month. Crazy, it's been 4 years.
Tyler started soccer 2 weeks ago and the first session he pretty much had the worst meltdown I've ever seen. He loved the exercising at the beginning, the drills, then it came to playing a game and he was upset that kids were taking the ball form him and some kids were running faster. Explain to a feisty 3 year old that this is actually the game of soccer. Umm yeah, no beuno. His second week though he did much better after our numerous talks about what actually happens in soccer. We checked our cousin Kyle's game and watched those high school boys play soccer. Speaking of high school boys, Kyle is a freshman and is starting on the varsity team. He's pretty darn good.
Here's another photo dump of all kind of random stuff we've been up to over the past few weeks.
