Life has been busy. Work has been nuts, the weather has been beautiful and I haven't picked up our real camera in quite a while and it's been nice because I've just been enjoying things. Here's some things that have made me happy the past few weeks...
Alex receiving First Communion and our kids being perfect angels for the entire mass. Tyler telling Alex "You look beautiful Alex, you look like a princess". My heart melts. And having a niece who wants to pose like this in her communion dress. My kind of gal :)
Beautiful blooming trees and the view from my kitchen window. I love it.
Walking with the boys while drinking a milkshake. Yum!
First fire and marshmallow roasting of the season. He's totally in to it.
First time at the circus. He sat amazed and watched for 2 hours. His favorite part was the "Strong Man".
Tyler enjoying his first snow cone and the next day walking downstairs asking me "Mom, what did I eat that my poop is green?". Very observant I tell ya. It was the snow cone buddy :)
His first circus souvenir..a light up sword!
A day spent with our first born at the circus. On the way home in the car I said to Dave "Gosh, isn't one kid easy?" and I turn around and Tyler has the biggest smile/grin on his face and was shaking his head "Yes".
Dad's clown nose
My dude
Bubbles with neighbors
A boy and his car = love
That I don't cry over spilled milk :)
That I'm ok with bringing the car in the house if that's what makes my kid happy :)
That even the most chill kid has a voice to tell you "I'm not happy!"
Little boys who love playing in and eating dirt
Reading on the way to school
When I get a request to "Comb my hair back to make me look like a lion".
Eating popcorn for breakfast
And powdered donuts for dinner
That Tyler loves to do "Cheers!"
Coming home to this
Little shoes on a big boy
When I go out for pizza and beers with the girls and get home to lunches made and clothes for the next day laid out and I didn't even have to ask him to do this. Thankful for an awesome husband ♥
We had a fun night out with friends in the city. I tried taking a picture to show Amy what I was wearing. These other blog people who post pics of themselves daily like this make this seem easy. It was not for me...this was try #5 at a clear picture!
