2 Months!

The little dude is 2 months old! It's hard to believe he's been here for only 2 months and it's hard to picture what life was like with only one kiddo in the house. Zac is such a joy to be around and he's a really mellow baby. He's starting to "play" a little bit and swats at the toys on purpose on his play mat and moves his arms and legs around like crazy. He tries so hard to push himself around on the mat with his legs and sometimes he's sideways in his crib when we check on him. The boy loves his tummy too. Tummy time usually turns in to sleepy time and I think he'll be a belly sleeper once he can turn over. He's also starting to really watch us and I catch him checking out his big brother a lot. We had his 2 month check up and he's doing well. His stats are 10.5 lbs (23%) and 22 in (22%) and head is 15.5 in (40%). He's a little peanut!

His smiles are coming more often now a days and he's found his hands recently and it's possible we might have a thumb sucker on our hands (that's Mama's boy for sure!) He's sleeping well and wakes up once a night to eat. He'll sleep for a solid 6 hours or so and is being very kind to us. Thank you babycakes! He still eats like a champ and eats about 6 oz. every 3-4 hours during the day. He apparently has the fast metabolism that his brother and Dad have because this kid can eat! On the birthmark front, his hemangioma isn't growing too fast, but might be growing underneath his skin also so we're going to visit Dermatology in 2 weeks to get it checked out and talk about treatment. I'm so thankful our doctor got us an appt. with dermatology because they were booked until June. Other than that, we're just enjoying our time together before we go back to reality of work and school.
