Somehow we have a 6 year old!?!? That age seems legit. I plan to do an interview with him and post that here so for now we'll just go with some birthday pics, no party pics since it had to be moved to another weekend because of the snow we got and lots of pics of the most awesome storm we got this weekend.
I'd say we got 2 feet (or maybe a bit more)! We had an awesome weekend of snow and our neighborhood turns in to a big playground. People out playing, Dave and his new quad giving rides to everyone and just all over awesomeness.
Other things to note below...
Tyler's dream this year was much different than last years "I want for people to do good in the world", this year "I would want for my Mom and Dad to do whatever I say" haha
Birthday boy pictures, surprise ice cream and singing while out to eat, fun family party to see cousins that we haven't seen in years, Zac and his love for cleaning, the fact that Zac must 'toot' in most pictures you take of him, his love for hot dogs is still going strong, Dave finally getting his own quad I swear he's been talking about it since the day we met 18 years ago, clear blue skies the day after a snow storm...it really doesn't get much better than that, spending 9 straight hours outside playing in the snow on a gorgeous winter day...our kids inherited our love of snow thank goodness, also working hard to clear all the snow and shoveling rooftops, at least it comes with a view! And the fact that at some point last year Tyler decided he would try anything we give him to eat. He eats so much and so many different foods and one of his favorite meals is mushrooms, broccoli and chicken. My kid for sure! Zac on the other hand eat veggies and fruit and might end up being a vegetarian he's totally the opposite and won't try anything. I'm sure in time that will change though...keeping my fingers crossed.
And lastly, after 6 years I found my old ski passes in my jacket. I wear the jacket all the time in the snow and somehow just found them yesterday. It immediately took me back to our carefree days of waking up early, driving to Tahoe to ski all day with friends, having drinks on the mountain under blue skies...where our biggest worry was as Melissa put it - what time should we meet in the morning and what donut should pick at the gas station. She's so on point with that one!
