I would love to caption every picture below but in reality that's a lot of work and time and it's almost 10pm and this lady is tired! So i"m going to keep with the paragraph recaps at the moment.
It's the 2nd week of December and we spent all last weekend playing outside as if it was October. It's pretty awesome except that we are really ready to get some snow so we can ski and play. Mother nature has been entertaining the kids with large leaf piles, we had lots of turkey dinners, then scooted right in to the tree is up and we're in full swing with lots of twinkly lights, we started the great toy clean out of 2015 and there's talk of how many more Nerf guns can we fit in this house since that's all Tyler is asking for for Christmas!
Juliet and Zac have been the dynamic duo lately. They had some fun with markers over at Juliet's house by painting each others faces and she drew him the best tail on the back of his neck and I didn't get a picture of it. Over here at our house I came downstairs to find them gnawing away on cookie dough. I'm positive these two have many more adventures to come together!
We've got forts built by Mom (who needs a structural engineer??), Dave and I being twinsies, hot tubbing at Grammy's, quad riding with Dad, watching the construction guys as they tore up our front yard to replace the sidewalks.
Zac and I took a trip down memory lane and I drove him through Mocanaqua to show him where I grew up (gosh I still love that town!). Our house we lived in is still so much the same as it was so many years ago. I feel like it was yesterday that we were swimming and running around that yard. So much has stayed the same yet so much is different there. Grammy and Pop's house looks so terrible. It's abandoned and is set to be torn down. It breaks my heart as we have so many memories there.
Dave played in his annual soccer game and the boys loved watching him play. For the first time in 5 years, Dave and I went to my work holiday party and we tried to get the Christmas card picture and I almost had to go with the one of them pretending to toot. It actually would have been perfect and is a really good representation of life as we know it with these two but I managed to get a good one. Outtakes below :)
And my heart melted last month when Jackson, our neighbor, had to write a thank you note at school and chose to write it to us. It basically said...Dear Bef and Dav, thank you for letting us ride the fast quad. I really like your jumps because they are cool. Love, Jackson.
And lastly, check out that beauty in that class picture in the top row. Shannon and Nichole are in that row with me too and they are still my good friends to this day. Who knew those ladies would be my friends almost 30 years later. So awesome.
Leaf piles are made for jumping with bikes too. I love this video.
And Zac one showing his moves...love, love, love it!

I love looking at your pictures! I think Zac is permanently bruised in that spot on his forehead. :)
