Another week another foot or so of snow

We might officially be buried here. It's cool though. Aside from that small work/school balance thing it really is fun. Dave and I have found ourselves way too many times this winter having conversations at 5:30 in the morning about who is going to stay home, take the kids in late, go to work late, etc. Too much thinking for 5:30am. Hopefully this morning was our last early morning conversation about snow.

We're getting creative around here when it comes to entertainment. There's two bicycles that have become permanent fixtures in our living room and they ride those bikes like our first floor is a good ole' dirt bike track. My motto is let them be. They're having fun and not wrecking anything, so indoor bike riding continues until Spring I guess. Gotta love original hardwood floors. These puppies can put up with a lot!

The Olympics have been keeping us busy. I love watching them. I want to be an Olympian for real. Dave says he'll build me a sled for the skeleton. We have an ice track in the backyard so maybe I'll start practicing. See you in Pyeong Chang.

We took the kids bowling the other day. It doesn't get much cuter than little feet in bowling shoes. My Dad was definitely watching and was proud of his grandsons bowling skills. Following in Pop's footsteps. If I only had my ball I would've beat Dave - Mom you need to get the ball back off that Beth lady you gave my ball to. Game is on again in this household.

Really nothing much has been going on. Zac loves being outside in the snow now. A few weeks ago he wouldn't even put on his bibs and now he won't come inside. He just says "more, more" when we sleigh ride.

We saw the Lego movie, Tyler had his first trip to the hibachi grill, we went to the circus, valentine's parties at school, Dave and I got to go skiing yesterday and that's about it.

And just like I said in the fall with crunchy leaves...our foyer is now full of boots, gloves, hats and enough rock salt that we could give some to our township who is apparently running low on it.

Lots of videos at the bottom of this post. I couldn't pick just one and the P90X workout made me smile with the "Dad, you warming up to go to bed?" question...makes me melt.

I call this series of pictures...documenting how a 4 year old eats his weight in spaghetti. The kids got talent for sure. It's that Italian side kickin in.
