Happy Valentine's Day!

Our Valentine's Day wasn't exactly a happy one because it involved doctor visits, runny noses, coughing, sneezing, fevers and sleeping. Tyler started getting sick this past weekend and by Sunday all he wanted to do all day was lay on us and cuddle (not typical Tyler at all!). Thank goodness we immediately took him to the doctor because he has pneumonia. It's in the early stage so they just gave us antibiotics, but it slowed down the usual 50mph kid to 0mph (or maybe even reverse). Dave was also sick with the same symptoms as Tyler, but the Doctor says his isn't pneumonia. So after a lot TLC and a few good doses of medicine they're almost back up and running.

Here's Tyler's valentine's for all the kids at school. He missed his party, but I took these in anyway since I wasn't sure what else to do with 50 valentine's :)


This made us laugh and we were happy he was moving around and trying to eat some cheerios. This is what happens when you put your face in a handful of cheerios and have a runny nose ha ha! One fell off as I went to grab the camera :)


Grammy 911 was quick to respond and my Mom came to watch Tyler for us and help out. You can tell he's getting better today and it's amazing how fast he's on the mend - thank goodness!! He was helping Grammy make pizza.


And they did a little coloring...


I had to run to day care so I picked up his Valentine's from the other kids. He ripped through them and went straight for the pixie sticks!


The other day Mr. Independant got to test out his new step stool...now he could reach the sink and brush his own teeth :)
