Happy New Year! 2010 was a super crazy, but awesome year for us. I'm happy, but also sad to see it go because I feel like we accomplished a lot! It was definitely the year of "New". New baby (and all the new stuff that comes along with baby), new job for me, new house, construction on new house and new day cares...when we look back we're not sure how we got through it all and can't believe how fast the the year flew by! So...for 2011 we're going to settle in and enjoy everything that was new in 2010!
We rang in 2011 with Dave's sister Kris and her family and had a really good relaxing long weekend. We celebrated the short lived 45 degree weather with some wagon rides and visits to the dog next door. It felt like summer...ok or maybe Spring, but it felt really nice out after how cold it's been. Dave got in a little basketball with our nephews and rumor has it that I'm going to have to be the one to teach Tyler how to play b-ball. :)
We took down our No down yesterday (aka Xmas tree) along with all the other Xmas stuff and our house looks boring now that it's back to normal :( This happens every year...I get sick of looking at all the stuff and when we take it down I want it all back up! I'm sure you can guess the new word that's been added to Tyler's vocabulary. Now, we're just hoping it takes him the next 10 years to learn how to use the word No :)
Over the last 2 weeks Dave had some time to build himself a ski tuning table that folds against the wall. Our friend also made some decals for it - really cool! Here they are showing it off!
Banging pots and pans before bedtime
Still smiling even though we had a tough game :(
The need for speed...
Dancing on the counter with no pants on
I think the tent hit capacity in this picture
Another failed attempt to get over the gates...
