Lots happening

Zac got his first haircut at Ralph's Barber Shop in Glenside. He did pretty good, wouldn't put on the cape and wanted to sit on Dad's lap, but he didn't fuss much. Just gave the woman his stink eye. This kid has mastered the stink eye and we have no idea where he got it from.

I was in Vegas for work for 3 days and it was all work, work, work. I did get a serendipity frozen hot chocolate so that was a plus. Fun...but I'm really happy I don't have to travel much for work. Then, I got home and Dave went to Denver for 3 days, so it's been kind of crazy around here.

We had the annual Thanksgiving lunch at school with the boys, but Dave was away so I tackled that one by myself, so there's not many pictures. It was a nice lunch and both kids had a little performance at the beginning.

Tyler asked for his room to be painted orange. We agreed to painting one wall orange and he's very happy.

We took the kids mountain biking. We rode our bikes down to the Wissihickon and took them on trails, followed that with lunch at Bruno's and then rode home. It's pretty cool that we can start doing a little more with them together now that Zac is getting older.

Jumping in the leaves

Before I dump all 1,000 jumping in the leaf pictures on here there's two things to note...

1. Tonight I said to Zac "You want to go on the potty like your brother?" He gave me an enthusiastic "Yes!". I took him over and when I went to sit him down on the potty he put his feet straight in to the toilet instead and dunked his bare feet. As I washed his feet off he let it be known that he would not be going near the potty again. So, if he's wearing pull-ups to college it's my fault for sure.

2. Every year we jump in the leaves, but it's not every year that we capture such a great loving picture like the one below. The "My Dad clocked me with a rake" picture.

Happenings

Brother boarding. These little guys are starting to have fun together :)

Swimming in the tub

Uncle Ry with his tousled hair and his model pout. He's moving to Seattle in a few weeks, we'll miss him! :(

We ran the Fox's Trot 5k as a family :)

And Tyler did the kids fun run

If you've got it, spike it!

Celebrating Oct/Nov birthdays!

When someone gets a hold of my phone, I'm always surprised with the pictures I find.

Zac's first dentist appointment. He loved the play area and screamed his face off for the 2 minutes that the dentist examined him. And also last week Tyler had 2 cavities filled. I think he got my teeth as far as cavities go :(

Scouring Toy R Us to start making their xmas lists!

And goodbye to the Jeep :( Last night we got a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is the first time in I don't know how long that we're certain when we go out to start our cars that they will actually start. We have certainly put our time in with old cars. I may have to dedicate an entire post to the Jeep, it was like one of our kids. I wasn't there for the actual parting, but Dave says it was emotional ;)
