Randomness from this week

We celebrated Aunt Juli's birthday last weekend, which means it was Tyler's job to help blow out candles.

Tyler had his last soccer practice and they played at little game to put together everything they learned. With 2-4 yr. olds it was quite a show. Then they each got to run through the the tunnel of cheering parents giving high fives and got a medal. By the end Tyler and Kavi were over it and we're ready to go to Chuck-e-Cheese for their celebration lunch that we promised them. I'm happy to say we all survived our first Chuck-e-Cheese experience. And I couldn't leave out Andri and Zac who are the upcoming soccer stars.

And Karen and Ben gave us their hammock to use until they find a place to put it in their yard. The kids love it and Juliet has found her peaceful place for sure. She could swing in that thing all day, that is until Tyler comes in and disrupts her. So cute! Now, I just wait for the day that I can actually lay in it for 3 uniterrupted seconds...one can dream right?

Eating, playing and jumping.

First, some pictures of the soft pretzel kid. Chomping away cute as can be. These kids love pretzels...yummm.

And Uncle Ryan playing a little guitar for the boys. Tyler and Uncle Ryan duet sometimes, but this time Zac was in to it. So sweet. Then, Tyler said "Aunt Juli, jump with me!". So, she hops in and has a litle fun. They've both got mad style in their jumps :)

Easter

Trying to catch up here. Our Easter was pretty low key this year. We dyed eggs the day before Easter and Juliet got to join in the fun was us. We woke up to some presents from the Easter bunny, then headed to both Grams and Pops houses. Easter egg hunt at Grammy's, lots of playing with cousins and a dance party...because what holiday would be complete without a dance party?

Biker boys

Tylerism of the week...at school, one of the Mom's came in to the classroom and she was wearing tights. Tyler went over to her and said "Nice sleeves" while rubbing her legs. She told me the way he said it was hysterical. We know her well and she laughs at stuff just as we do. Jokingly, I told her it's ok if she doesn't want her kid hanging out with mine anymore since high school could get a little interesting if he's already doing this and he response was "No way! They're staying friends". Good people to have around. For the record Tyler, when you're reading this when you're older, this was Kyle's Mom.

On to some bike riding. The weather is getting warmer so all bikes, wagons, scooters, and every other riding toy has slowly moved back to the garage from the shed. We should rent out our stuff we might be able to make some money. We even had our first picnic lunch in the yard (Tyler's suggestion). Makes me happy that he remembers something so simple from last year like a picnic in the yard. And yesterday we took our first walk to the ice cream shop. Although Tyler shivered while he ate his ice cream, it was still good to get out and breathe some fresh air. Tomorrow seems like it's going to be an open your windows a bit type of day. I can't wait. Zac has also hopped on the bike riding train and is getting use to his little fire truck. He does not have a 95th percentile head like Tyler does so we had to go get him a new helmet...finally something of his own.

Dad decided that just riding down the hill in the yard isn't enough (because why would it be?). Are we normal that we do this? Maybe some people think we're nuts, I don't know, but I know we have fun. So the first official bike jump was built. Tyler was loving it. Good times to come when Mama can get back on my mountain bike and go out and ride with all my boys.

And because my kid is too cute to pick just one picture...
